I had a judgement in place to paydown a divorce attorney, which i fathfully paid until the last payment of 76.00 due to imediate need i missed the payment and it is 2 months late..
the divorce attorney's new paralegal review my payments and sent a letter stateing i oued another 600. and that the amount i oued was incorect but failed to provide why only the copy of judgement.
can I file a satisfaction of judgement with the court using the final statement showing 76.00 to the court clerk since it shows a financial statement of the amount from the attorney? Will the court accept it with out contacting the attorney?
if you are actually looking at the court file and this matches the final statement then you should try it.
