yes, capital one has a judgement on house. CC was in husbands name. I found this on the court documents and it is 2007. if it reflects as of today the amount is 6,000 --is that the amt that has to be paid. the papers or court was not served in the usual manner where a person comes to the house and gives you the summons etc. This was received by the US mail. Of it being delq..etc..and the judgment was filed. He tried to reply and fight it..but they the attorneys who work for CO said it was too late you have a judgment end of story--- and could not even reply to fight it. what i am concern with is should i call the attorneys who was hired by CO and talked to someone in there. I am not for sure if the 6,000 is the total, or has interest occured since 2007 and would they consider taking the interest off and verify the correct balance for a payoff agreement less perhaps 60% to 70% so the judgement can be taken off the house. Things just happen. I am scared about calling the attorneys for fear of what i might hear or what they say and then i will get mad. My husband is retired and in a few years i will be retiring and just want peace of mind. without all this drama.....i am tired of drama.

get to the court house and read the file. Also this is a lot of money I would contact an attorney for a consultation
