Hi Carol,

Welcome to Credit Magic community. Keeping in mind the differences that appear in credit scores, the three major bureaus of US viz Experain, Equifax and TransUnion have come up with a new scoring model Vantage Score and is expected to be available later this year.

We have an article on vantage score in our site. Please have a look at this article to know more on vantage score.

Please let us know if you have any further queries.

Regards,
Richard

Hey Richard,

As per your suggestion I have gone through the article titled VanatgeScore - A brief overview. In the past I have noticed fluctuations in my credit score. With the emergence of VANTAGE score I hope this fluctuations wont occur. But ofcourse we need to see how vatagescore really helps us.

Thanks for the info.

Subject: received a summons for unpaid credit card debt

Carol,
You seem very well versed on the subject of debt/summons/bankruptcy law. I am considering all 3 but have been successful at some good debt settlements with other creditors but have just received a summons and will be unable to pay unless a settlement is reached. They are not making it easy to do, so I may have to file bankruptcy. I need to respond to the courthouse and to the collector asap. Any suggestions on how to respond or how to get a sample response?

Subject: CA wage garnishment

I was once told by an attorney that wage garnishment for credit card debt cannot be done in California. Only the IRS has that power or child support paments, is this true?
