I live in PA
If PDLs are illegal in my state and I have paid above the original amount of the loan, is my legal responsibility been satisfied?

I live in PA, as well. I had 3 PDL's I was actually dealing with (not very successfully, I may add). My paychecks were just getting down to nothing trying to pay all the fees, etc. Well...........I called them up, told them I had a lawyer ( of course I was lying..) and my lawyer said that PDL's were illegal in the state of PA. ALL 3 of them marked my accounts 'Paid In Full' and never bothered me again!! I would say, "yes" to your question. You already paid them their full amount. Are they still trying to take money out of your bank account, USNRAT?

Did someone withdrawn this money from your account? Or was it some kinda on-line transaction?

Usually...PDL's (or any other comapny) can't debt money from your bank account unless the bank account information ws given to them. I've had experienced that PDL companies DO share bank account information with each other. You can look on your bank statement and it should say the 'company' (and their phone number) on who is debiting your account.
