I have a charge off debt that is going to fall off my credit report due to the statue off limitation but it has been bought by a collection agency. Can the collection agency still report the debt they bought on my credit report?

How do you know that someone else 'bought' your debt? Whatevr i was..a call or letter., don't contact CA who took it over and make new arrangements. If you do that, you would be 're-ageing' the debt and the SOL would start over. Just let the debt 'fall off'. Something similiar happenedto me and that's the 'approach' I took. The debt is now off my CR because I just waited for the 'fall off' date to arrive.
