An insurance company has taken money out of my bank account to renew my insurance when i did not want to renew and didn't give them permission to do so. I have been in contact with them and they admitt they are in the wrong. But after nearly 2 weeks i still haven't had a refund. Does anyone know what i should do next. Thanks C

You can file a complaint against this insurance company. You may also contact with the insurance company and ask them the reason behind this. You may tell your banker to put a hard debit check on your bank account so that this thing may not happen in future.
How can this happened to you? first of all you have to file complaint against the banker and if they don't co-operate then you have to file suit against them but keep all the documents unless you get your money back.

Hello, 'GUEST'...welcome to the Forum. Ok..you say they "admit that they are wrong." Do you have any documentation, from them, that they debited a payment, without your permission, from your bank account? I'm not trying to be 'harsh' here. It's usually documentation that will prove what you and/or the Insurance company is saying. You said you cancelled your policy with them..correct? Do you have anything written stating that? You may want to call them, again, and see if you can get copies of the neccessary paperwork.
