Hello,

I sent out 3 pay for delete letters to CA's. 2 of them responded. 1 I paid and it has been deleted (yay!) and the other I am trying to negotiate with. The last one never responded.

My question is what should my next step with the CA that didnt respond be? should I ask for DV? Can they summons me after they validate the debt?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I think, the CA didn’t agree with your pay for delete agreement. It depends on their discretion whether or not to accept or reject your proposal. You can make a written request to them via certified mail with a return receipt request to update your account status as “Paid-in-full” after repaying the debt. You need not to ask them for a debt validation letter. This is because debt validation letter after sending a pay for delete letter is meaningless.
