car dealership and hard inquiries

I recently went to buy a new car at a ford dealership but was unable to get a loan due to having no credit at all.Now I'm working on building my credit up but I see 4 hard inquiries that were made by the ford company.It seems to me when 1 place turned them down they went to another. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I stuck with it for 2 years ? and how will this effect me when I get my score up and decide to buy a new car again ?
