Debt validation

The credit report company (transunion, equifax, experian) removed a collection account after it could not be verified, my question is can the CA or another CA report it again on my credit report?

Usually negative items remain on your credit report for 7 years from the date of your first default. After 7 years it will be removed from your credit report. Yep…the CA can report it again on your credit report.

If the debt couldn't be validated then why would it stay on for 7 years? I thought it would then get deleted since it was "wrongfully" reported in the first place?
