I am getting calls from a company now saying that an officer is going to serve me papers and I am on my second attempt. I have a couple credit cards that I defaulted onthe most was less than 3000. And they said it was in miami. I live in CA I am so confused I'm pretty sure the last payment anyone rec was in 2009 or 2010. Any advise?

Ask them to verify the debt in writing via certified mail with a return receipt request. Check the SOL period in your state. If it has expired, then nobody can take any legal action against you.
