I have been served papers from lawyer/CA for credit card debt. The original debt was started in Mississippi. The last payment/activity was Dec 2011. Am I correct that since the SOL in MS is 3 yrs that the SOL has expired? I have since lived in NV and UT.
I will respond to the papers thru the court and then send out DV etc as stated in these forums.
Is there anything else I need to do or know to get thru this...very intimidating experience for sure. Thought the SOL had expired.
