Put your question here ...I have paid these companies a fortune already. Can anyone tell me what to do?

Jan,

Can you provide some more details? We would be in a better position to provide with a correct answer if you explain the problem you are facing.

As a general advice I would say you figure out how much you have paid for your account as of now. When you have all the details, get in touch with the company that you have your account with and ask them to close your account. You also need to make sure that they give you a written paid in full statement after settling your account.

I have 6 payday loans from both storefront and internet sites. At this time, I am paying over $800 per month in fees alone. I want this vicious cycle to stop, but don't know where to begin. I'm afraid to close my account in fear of being criminally prosecuted for a bad check. I live in SC, is that possible? I have read things about rollovers. Four of the loans (storefront) I have had for over 2 years.
