There was no response to the message that originally appeared here -
since I've taken care of? most of the items I'd posted... I edit.

After posting my issues in a desperate attempt to get help,
I decided to see what I could learn (on the site) on my own.
The majority of my questions were answered and what's more,
possibly most important, is that what I learned prepared me to talk
to the collections agency and the lenders, with NO fear.

It feels much better to know that these are going to be taken care of.
(old baggage sort of weighs you down)

Thank you for having the sort of content that can actually help
people take care of these things on their own.

JGens,

I regret that nobody was available to provide you the answer at the time you had posted your question. But it is good to know that you were able to find the answer from the other sections on this site.

Hi,

When you can do things yourself, you should not need any company but good suggestions from people who have dealt with the same problems.

Hello Wendy,
You are a strong person so dont get worked up so easily. Steady and work upon it yourself. Again tell me exactly what problem you are facing? Delinquent accounts?

Dispute all unnecessary items. There is no guarantee that all the items will be removed because it depends on the status of that particular account. If you really are delinquent on an account you cannot expect it go away without being paid off.

sdchargers_63,

As i have come to know that you are a single mom I really think that you are also capable enough to take up other responsibilities. Did you pull out your credit report recently? Again I see that you also are delinquent on a payday loan. I am completely adverse to the idea of a payday loan but because you have already committed the mistake all you can do now is try to get out of it. Cash Call wont help you out, they have made people's life a nightmare. You tell me has your account been turned over to a Debt Collection agency or is it still with Cash Call?

Thanks
Polly

Hi Polly and Carol.......You are both right. I can handle just about anything!! I work full time and I serve in the military AND raising a teenage boy!! WHEW!! Gotta be doing something right!! LOL With Cash Call..no,it's not with a CA yet. However..I have tried to work out paymnets with them and they just won't budge!! Told them the amount I can start paying again. But...they tell me " it's not good enough". I got a loan from them, late last year. I fell behind, in a payment, 1 month ( March of this year). Instead of 'accepting' 2 months worth of payments, they said I had to pay ALOT of %, since the payments are late. Well....they called just about everyone I know " looking for me". Being in the military, my 'chain of comand' stepped in ( that means, my 'supervisior'). He went 'furthur up' the chain. This was the beginning of Spring time. I haven't heard from Cash Call since. However..Cash Call is on my credit as a deliquent account. Just wondering how I can ( possibally?) get rid of it. I am working on my credit report..slowly but surely. I have gotten some things 'removed' ( old accounts). Sometimes I'm the type of person who wants things 'fixed' NOW. But..I'm also realizing ( thanks to this forum) that 'Rome wasn't built in a day'.

Its really difficult if they do not cooperate. File a complaint with the AG. They cannot harass you.

Cash Call hasn't called me in a LONG time..or, my 'references', for a while, either. As I said, they are the BIGGEST thing on my credit report. What I'm going to do is just work at the 'small' stuff and go from there.

Not sure about this, but since you're in the military, I thought the highest interest rate you are allowed to be charged was somewhere around 36%. I recommend contacting your JAG for assistance...

I haven't contacted JAG about this. I just want to see what I can come up with, without 'dragging' the military too far into this. But, thanks for the advice.

Sure but that a legal step ahead. You can take the measure when you think its the right time and you are unable to deal with it anymore.

yep..I see your point. When I was getting all the phone calls, my chain of command ( means my '1st line supervisor' ) stepped in. He contacted who he needed to, to stop the calls, and found out some other information about Cash Call. I'm waiting with the 'JAG' thing, because I'm not sure if JAG CAN actually 'step in for me', since this is non-military issue ) JAG can get alittle 'sticky' with things like this).. But, yes..I see your point.
