When you deposit a check in your account, the bank sends it to the payers bank for the money. When the payers bank pays the money to your bank to get credited into your account, it shows your check is "cleared". "Cleared" does not necessarily mean that your bank after receiving the money has deposited it into your account. As soon as your bank credits the money into your account, it shows "credited", which means that you can now withdraw the money.

Hi KHAMIS,

FIA CSNA stands for FIA Card Services, National Association. FIA CSNA is a financial institution that processes credit cards for many credit card companies. Wachovia, Citibank, Chase are few of the companies associated with them.

If you find FIA CSNA listed on your credit report, you may be using a credit card of some company that works with FIA CSNA. The best thing to do is, send a debt validation letter to them.

Hi KHAMIS,

Do you have FIA CSNA listed on your credit report? If it is written that you owe a debt to FIA CSNA and you are not sure of it, then send in a debt validation letter to the company.

Hi MARIA

Maybe you are doing business with a financial institution that endorses the card of FIA CSNA.

You can find more information about FIA CSNA right here.
