Is there any way out of this dilemma?

I am currently unable to work due to an undiagnosed medical condition. My husband works very hard to support my daughter and myself, however after a previous child support garnishment and a tax garnishment, we are unable to pay all our bills every month, which includes 3 credit card bills which seem to double every month because our payment becomes a day or two late. I feel helpless and I feel beaten. What is a person to do?

Hi,

I empathize with your situation. What else can we do? Sometimes we really get stuck and are unable to come out of such situations.

Try negotiating with the credit card company explaining them your situation so that the late payments can be taken into consideration. Also start budgeting to keep a check on the money that you are spending and for which purpose. Try to save money aside just for the credit card payments. If possible take up a lighter job for yourself just to pay off these bills i.e. only if your health permits. Keep us posted and I pray that you can get out of this situation.

Please do not feel beaten. You have to be strong to support your husband. All the best.

You have to buck up okay.

Keep your credits low. That will help you.
