Can someone 'help me out/'? What experiences have 'you' had with this company ( if any)? I had them send me information on their program.

RCA is a financial service company which helps individuals to understand the credit industry and help them in rebuilding their credit score.

I dont know about this company from personal experience but, I will say this:

Any company that claims that they will do anything for your for free, is lying. SO, if this or any company says that they and their X amount of employees are all volunteering their time to help you *and the bank is giving them a free building to work from and the phone comapny is donating phone service etc. etc* RUN AWAY!

Anywho, If the company is honest and says that they are going to charge you for their services AND has a written outline of services and some kind of guarentee on the results of their services......

Well, you need to look at your own situation and decide what would be best for you. Personally, I would rather do all of the research and then leg work on my own and keep my money. Then again, I don't value my time as much as some Wink lol

BTW, I looked at RCAs website and I did not get good vibes.... Also, I googled them and found most of the hits were from that rip off report site.... I didn't read them so I dont know how credible they are but, maybe you should.

Good luck!

Well.......I DID call them back and asked a few 'deeper' questions. The answers?....well, First of all: I din't get the answers I recieved in the BEGINNING of my conversasion with them. Second of all: I did a 'more in depth' search on them. Yep..you're right, lots of compliants. I did have to 'hand it to them' ( RCA). The complaints are 'well hidden'. FINALLY they did admit their would have to be a "small fee" to start processing. Imagine that!!

Best advise is to stay away from a place like this. Who needs a bigger headache?

I think that before going for any credit repair company, one must investigate about the company in complete details. One should have everything in writing about the fees and other charges. Even if you face a slight problem, don't go for it.

I'm trying to get my money back. Once you give them the money they don't even bother to talk to you...It's been over 3 months and I don't have any new accounts or my money back.

Hi RCA customer
If you have the signed agreements you had with RCA, and if you think that RCA has cheated, you can sue the company. You can also lodge a complaint against RCA to the FTC, bbb and the state's AGs office.

WOW! Thanks for posting this information. One of my general rules is to stay away from places that advertize 'free service'. They always seem to get in your pockets one way or another. I think that slogan is just a way to hook us in and then once you are dealing with them their companies true goal comes out. Almost like a psychological trick. After all, who doesn't want 'free' things?

True, we all like freebies, but as you say we must be careful to not get caught up in a scam, usually if it sounds toooooo good to be true, it is.

RCA has called and e-mailed me with this "wonderful offer." I can get some kind of discount if I sign up now. They say in their ads they don't ask for "upfront fees." But...they do. The more i talk to them, the less I am impressed.
