I have since paid off a credit card that reported negative information to my credit report. Is this something that I can have removed or do I have to wait until it falls off by itself?
Did you request for a pay for delete when you settled the account? If not I think it might be difficult to get it removed. However, now that you have paid it, the account must reflect as 'paid off' or 'settled' on your report and will fall of naturally by itself.
