Subject: Why doesnt my credit score increase.

I make about 4 times more than what i owe including my home mortgage.
My only mistakes have been occasional late payment on my credit cards more due to negligence than lack of money.about 4-5 times in the past 5 years.
Why doesnt my credit score go up?

My total debt including current home mortgage is 140,000
my household income is >400000 annually
still my credit score is 680 or so
just dont understand the reason
