Subject: Charge off due to crime

I have 2 charge offs on my credit report which were caused by a financial crime that destroyed my life savings. I have, otherwise, had perfect credit. The CO's occurred in 2007, and I settled for 50% payment. Is there any way to remove these CO's untile SOL is over. 7 years in my state. Thank you.

Hi nyr2008

To get charge-offs removed, you usually need to try and convince creditors before you make any payment. If your charge-off has been settled with your creditor, I think it'll be difficult for you to get them removed now.
