I won my court case - how do I get it off my credit report?

Discover Card took me to court for an unpaid credit card. I won the case and recieved a judgement in my favor. Discover then appealed the judgement but they lost again. The result was "Dismissed with prejudice" meaning that it was not possible for Discover to appeal again.

I sent a copy of the judgement to all three credit reports to get Discover card removed from my reports but they all came back as updated reflecting a charge-off. I called and they say that they sent the info to Discover who will not authorize removal of the information. Is this allowed? What options do I have as the judment was won because of their lack of ability to validate the original agreement and debt.

Thanks for any help!

Hi Grouse

Dispute the debt on your report. Let them validate the debt o the Credit bureaus. In the mean time you can file a complain with the BBB and the FTC. Let the creditors know that you will take legal actions against them for wrongly reporting on your records. This should get the charge-off off your credit report.
