Hi Carol
i have several letters from this company regarding speedy cash, they say they are going to do an asset search i live in Calif and other threatening action. I tried to work something out with Speedy Cash myself when i got laid off work (still not working) but they would not come to an aggreement. what course of action can i do.

How long has it been since you defaulted? If you haven't been long, it is unlikely that they will agree upon a debt settlement.

Hi Carol,
It been about 8 mos maybe a little more, according to the calif payday loan law it says they can't take criminal acton it is prohibited? is there a letter i can send to this collection agency or something i can do?
Let me know asap they have called my house 3 times today.

| I was told with my original arrangement that no deductions would be made without my prior approval. I never gave them permission to use my debit card when ever they chose to. Well they did. when I contacted them they were rude and threatened to send me to collections and that was after I agrreed to one payment and the stole the other! They are theives!!!!! If you get a letter from them throw it away!!! They set up arrangements for payment and later disregard your original agreement!!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!!!! |

| diana, you need to contact your attorney generals office, they should be able to help you out as far as them not holding there original agreement. |

| I had thought about doing a payday loan once or twice when times were tight. But after reading everyone's post and finding out how crooked they are I'm glad I didn't go through with it. |
