Hello and welcome. If the finance company takes you to court they can in fact garnish your wages through a court order issued from the judge overseeing the court case.
You should maybe give the finance company a call to see if you can set up repayment arrangements because they can also attach any bank accounts that are in your name. The sooner you do get this resolved the better. It is a lot easier to make payments yourself rather than have them garnished. This way you can be sure your bank account is not attached also.
