You really need to talk to your bank about this and if they are unauthorized they should be able to recover the money for you.

To be totally safe, I would definately close the account and then open a new one.

How did they get your account numbers? Do you have any idea?

Talk to the bank and then request that they close the account and open a new one. Goodluck and keep us updated.

Hi earnitjr

As far as I know (I'm not sure though) you cannot put a stop unless you have instructed your bank to do so in writing. Maybe you should speak with your bank and find out details. A better thing to do and effective one too, would be to close the account.

Yes I would do as the others have said close your account and open a new one. And another thing you could do is pull your credit report and make sure someone else hasn't been using your information to get credit. Because if you didn't authorize them doing this make sure no one else did.
