Subject: parents credit hurting my score

As a teen my mom had excellent credit she added me on a credit card for emergencys now that card is bad and its on my credit score though i never signed anything i was a minor how do i remove this

Sorry to hear of this happening to you. My hubby went through the same. Here is what you need to do first. Dispute those debts with the credit bureau. All three bureaus. Also try getting the names of all the accounts from our credit record and see if there are contact numbers written beside their names and call each of them and advise them on what is going on. Be sure to stress you were a teenager who was not of age when the accounts were opened. Ask to speak with the manager if possible. If they will not work with you call your state atty general. He or she will help.
