I have a car lease expiring and my credit rating is in the 400's. I don't want to lose my car, can I get a car loan for a car lease with poor credit?

Not sure how the whole car lease thing works. But can you just renew the lease you already have. Without them pulling your credit?

Archie, I really do not believe you will be able to get a loan secured through a bank but their are other types of buy here, pay here auto dealers. They may charge a little more in interest and the cars may not all be top of the line but you would at least have a vehicle until you got back on your feet.
Maybe if you kept your payments up with where you are leasing now you could ask if they would consider doing another lease. Hopefully you have shown them good payment history. If so ask them if it is possible.
