Subject: Familiar with Robert C. Woodbury CCCN?

I just got a letter from an Attorney named Robert C. Woodbury from Canoga Park. The company he works for is called Century Capital Corporation of Nevada. I've googled the company and come up with nothing. Has anyone had any contact with these people?

Hi Guest

Are you talking about Century Capital Corporation of Nevada or Century 1 Capital Management? I found 1 by this name and it is a company that provides investment advice to risk management groups. If you could tell more about the call I may be able to look up some information for you.

They have a web site centurycapitalcorp.com I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. When you read their frequently asked questions on their website they look pretty serious. Robert C. Woodbury is in fact a Business Lawyer in Canoga Park 1hr. away from where I live. The debt is $3,000 and it's 3 years old. The statute of limitations is 4 years here in California. Based on the frequently asked questions I'm not sure if I should ignore the letter or ask for validation.

I haven't had any experience with them. If the man is a lawyer they may be getting ready to sue you for the debt. So no don't ignore them. If they are planning to sue and you ignore them and don't go to court then they will win. I would send the debt validation letter certified with receipt. Asking them to verify the debt is yours. Some times they can't verify it. So you would have a better chance of winning. If they when that means they can garnish your wages or bank account to recover the money.

Hello.. My name is Theresa Moore and I am Mr Woodbury's paralegal. He is a civil litigation attorney in Canoga Park CA and handles debt collection for Century Capital Corporation of Nevada (CCCN). If the web site doesnt answer your questions, call Mr Woodbury. People will often ignore collection letters because they are afraid or dont understand whats going on. Its easier to talk to him than going to court. Dont be afraid to call.. he can answer all your questions and most importantly, he can help you work it out. His phone number is 818-883-1776
