Subject: Is rail road retiement judgememt proof

I know social security can only be attached for Federal debt, but what about railroad retirement? If it is your only form of income can creditors such as payday loans and credit cards attach your benefits and if so at what percentage?

I believe they consider retirement money as a form of SS there for it can not be attached as well. Be sure to inform your bank that they money going into you account is your retirement check in case someone try's to garnish it so they can stop it from happening.
