I am struggling with credit card debt, and would like to know if a judgement is entered against me for unpaid, unsecured credit card debt, is the creditor able to lein my personal property, specifically my house. If I own more than one property are they able to lein only one?

Most likely they will garnish your wages or attach your bank account first. But yes they can put a lien on your house in order to collect their money.

Debra is correct they can put a lien against your home. If you ever sell it they can collect what is owed to them. You can check for judgments by going to your court house. Around here you can walk in and enter any name in the computers they have provided and it will tell you if there are judgments even bankruptcy. I would try to make some arrangement with your creditor to get this paid off. If it is not already late or the account was just recently defaulted on call and ask them if there is a possiblity of settling this dewbt for less so that you can afford to take care of it. Some will do this.
