Subject: how does a cabel contract effect my credit?

i had a comcast turned on in my name becuase my mom had bad credit, but she was late on some payments and then we had to disconect. she said she paid the past due balances but not the early termination fee. how will that effect my credit when i didnt have any to begin with. and ive tried to apply for a credit card but they all say im declined but i have no credit except for that comcast contract

If you are very sincere about your credit score then, you have to remember that, Late payments always effects on your credit score.

If the early termination fee was left on the account then comcast will sell this debt to a collection agency. if you were under 18, then you can probably fix this, but you may have to accuse your parent of fraud.
