It won't be removed being past the SOL means they can no longer sue you to collect on the debt any longer.Unless you pay on the debt and start the SOL all over again. It should fall off after seven years. So don't pay on it and just let it fall off. Unless you wanted to do a pay for delete. But keep in mind not all creditors will do this.

YOu can pay this without resetting the DOFD and starting SOL all over. Start with a DV letter. It may come off your report with normal disputing. IF not you can consider whether to Pay For Delete.
