Yes my husband had a judgement against him for a credit card debt. The credit card company just reopened the case to garnish our joint bank account. He is the only one on the credit card, but our only checking account is in both of our names. He also is the sole provider for our family.

As far as I know as long as his name is on the checking account they can garnish it.
