Hi carter4ever

I would suggest begin with checking your credit report. See if there are any misinformation that need to be removed. Have you checked the credit limits on the cards that you have? Sometimes, lenders show a lower limit which in turn depresses your score temporarily. If you find any such thing you may ask your lender to update the information. This should boost your credit score a little. Besides this, try to clear your credit card dues that you still have. These give quite some push to your score. Don't overuse any of your cards. Stick to 30% of your limit.

A CC is always good to improve your Credit score. However...make sure, before you apply for the CC, that you can truly afford it. I know people who have 2, 3, or 4 CC's (they did this to "improve their Credit scores"..) and NOW can't pay anything on them because they don't have the money. Of course, deliquencies on CC's DO go on your Credit. Just be responsible with the CC's.

Hi carter4ever

I am not sure about alliedtrustdiamond.com since I do not have knowledge about them. About opening a secured credit card, you may do so, but make sure you use it properly and don't run up huge balances. Also, remember that opening a secured credit card every time you plan to boost your score is not a good idea. Go ahead with this plan if you do not have too many cards already.
