what is the FCRA, an d how do I contact them to get my credit score? When I read your page it said I can get a credit score from them once a year.

Not sure but could you be referring to fico score. If so when you get your credit report you can get it from them of course there is a fee. Or you can get it from fico.com as well. Also for a fee.

Hi chelly,

FCRA is the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It is an United States Federal Law that collection, dissemination, and use of consumer information, including consumer credit information. You can definitely contact them to know your credit score. Getting your credit score once in a year is free too.

You can contact Central Source to get your free credit report. For further information you will have to visit the free credit report's website.

Thanks,

Aaron

Thanks Aaron I had no idea you could get your score from them for free. So does this apply to everyone or only those people that are having issues with their credit?

Credit reports are once per year, however scores are not provided to you with the report, and most compaines will require you to pay for the score.

federal law gives free credit reports from EX EQ and TU once per year but there is no credit score. There are a lot of promotional services that will give you a couple free weeks of a subscription service but the scores are FAKO not FICO
