a judgement for wage and nonwage garnishment were sent. there is a hold on my bank account and they also are taking money from my paycheck for garnishment. when will they release the hold on my bank account

Ihello Guest, Usually the hold is not released on your bank account until the garnishment amount is paid in full. Do you know what company this is for? Do you recognize the name and amount owed? They can legally garnish your wages if they got a garnishment order from a judge. I am wondering if you ever recieved a notice about a lawsuit in the mail? If not you may be able to have it revearsed if you do so quickly. Some have a time limitation on how long you can file. try to give us a little more detail.
