The creditor has to write the deletion letter. It will not really help you to buy one, as the CRA has to confirm the letter

Hi Sammy,

cinnamngrl is right. The creditor is needed to write the Deletion Letter. So what you can do is ask the creditor if they will delete the collection from your credit report, else you can request them to send a copy of the deletion letter. This provides you with the proof, that the creditor is going to delete the collection from your report. After you get the deletion letter, you can send a copy of the same to the credit bureaus, requesting them to delete the item.
