Hi all,

I’m using a credit repair company that is quite an expensive one. Now, the problem is that since May I haven’t received a letter from any of the 3 credit agencies and the company that I’m using is telling me that they are sending letter to the Credit Agencies and creditors. However, this does not mean that they always will have to respond back.

Should I cancel the service offered by this company or unfortunately this is true?

Hi Rodes,

Repairing your own credit can be quite easy. You should always try to do that before you can get help from a credit repair company. Even if you go to a credit repair company, you should first check with the reputation of the company and if the company is accredited with the Better Business Bureau.

If you think that you are getting no where in your credit repair process with this credit repair agency, you can cancel the service.

Thanks,

Aaron

the most honest credit repair company can't do anything you can't do. Save your money for postage. you will spend 5.65 per certified letter but you will have much greater effect!

please read some more at credit magic. I wouldn't pay them any more money.

Yes, I think this is just a scam company. It is important to check with the authenticity of the company before enrolling with them for credit repair help.

Credit repair should not be expensive when completed by a 3rd party. The credit bureaus are required to respond to inquiries. If this credit repair company is truly sending out correspondence the. Wangle copies of the letters and proof of mailing such as the CMRRR receipt.
