| Hmm, As anyone been taking to court for not paying them. Someone mentioned why bother paying when they will continue to keep it on your credit report. So I would like to know has anyone waited long enough to have them take you to court. This way it's in front of a judge and the agreement would be court ordered. |

| I thought that once an item was on your credit report, it was required to be posted accurately. For example, if the debt became delinquent, even if it is ultimately paid, the company can report it eventually as paid in full, or settled in full.. but isn't it against a fair credit reporting law to completely delete if from the credit report? |

Follow the links and file more complaints about what this company has done to you. Finally the government has stepped in to help protect consumers from being bullied. if you are not in Texas, contact your Attorney General and tell them what Greg Abbot is doing so they can jump on board with the Texas Attorney General. our voices have been heard |

That is great news, it seems as if Texas and California are good for filing lawsuits against these bad collection agencies, wish some other states would come on board and join them, they may settle down in there ways and start treating people differently. The law are there in black and white and they still chose to ignore them.

Actually it all starts with us, the consumer, we have to file the complaints with our attorney generals office's, our department of banking, the better business bureau and any other monitoring agency that we have available to us, these complaints are what bring things to their attention. If enough people complain they have to take action. They do track and act on complaints, we have to get them to them first.
