Anderson, Crenshaw and Associates (the devil & hell) will not let you talk about that ripoff APX Alarm , they suggest me: APX Alarm wants your business back, why you don't go back with them? Anderson,$ bla, bla ,bla yell at you like maniacs, telling you that you are on theirs hands 'cause they have the power to damage your credit or release if you pay at that moment for a trash of broken equipment that never worked.

Goodness Lisa...I'd like to know who you talked to at the company... You may be right in some aspects, however; I was willing to make payment arrangements & when I was transferred to the Tanya to set them up she became very rude when I asked why she was asking me questions that weren't necessary for this call. She ended up raising her voice at me immediately, told me I need to pay my bill & then hung up on me. I went through several hang ups from her b/c every time I called the toll free number back I was transferred to her even when I stated I did NOT want to talk w/ her & I just wanted to know the name of the owner & the address. I ended up talking with 7 people in the collections department before I finally got the number for the corporate office. Once I called there, the secretary was very nice & gave me the name of the owner of the company that the collections reps refused to give me. She also got me to their legal department & the gal (Bethany) I talked w/ there seemed very reasonable. She actually listened to what I had to say & advised me to write a letter to their company regarding my issues & to address it to the owner, herself &/or the Dispute Coordinator. She was very helpful by taking my acct out of collections & into the legal dept. She said she did this so the collections dept wouldn't call me anymore. She verified that 6116 N Central Expressway is their old address & that the company moved to the newest location of 12801 N Central Expressway 5 years ago. She stated that they are aware of the negative information about their comany on the internet but said nothing further.

The following is information for the company that I was given today by Bethany & I hope it helps everyone who is having difficulties with Anderson Crenshaw.

Anderson Crenshaw
Thomas Backal - Owner
12801 N Central Expressway Suite 250
Dallas, TX 75243

866-369-8959 (toll free)
214-368-2980 (direct for corporate office)
214-368-5294 (corporate fax)

Legal Department:

*Bethany Fransler (She is the head of the legal dept for this company and is taking the BAR in July 2009 as stated by her today)
She is in the corporate office & her # is: 214-368-2980 ext 3310

*Emily Ownby (She is the Dispute Coordinator)
She is in the corporate office & her # is: 214-368-2980 ext 3305

Good luck to everyone. I'll be sending my letter to the corporate office addressed to the owner via certified mail (to be signed by NO ONE other than the owner) and then contacting the BBB, FTC & Attorney General.

First they didn't leave an response to our message machine. I saw their phone number on our caller ID, when I called they talked so fast, I had to threaten to hang up if they didn't slow down. I told them they had the wrong customer and to take me off their calling list. Who they represent, we never had an account with them.. the guy wouldn't give me his name and told me that we would be served with papers today. I am glad I found this website... if they are scammers ... FTC will help. Don't take callls from them.

My name is Bethany Fansler, and I am an employee of Anderson, Crenshaw and Associates. I would like to address some of your concerns, as many of them are very similar.

First, our contact information is as follows: 214-368-2980 (phone) and 12801 North Central Expressway, Suite 250, Dallas, Texas 75243.

Second, our collectors are extensively trained to be compliant with both state and federal laws, and as such, some of the questions (verification of name and address), are mandated by law and are ultimatley there for your protection. Those questions should not be taken as rude or invasive.

Additionally, Anderson Crenshaw has policies and procedures in place when the proper channels are utilized. Our dispute department is here to work with consumers in the spirit of cooperation; complaints, questions, and concerns should be addressed to that particular department. We are readily available and can be reached at 214-368-2980, extensions 3310 (myself) or 3305 (Emily).

We look forward to hearing from you and working with you to reach an amicable resolution.

As I have read many of us were scamed by this Alarm company APX. I am all the way in Puerto Rico and this alarm never worked I even had bad feelings about my home beign cased after it did not work. Yet I have a fulltime housekeeper 6 days who is home. This alarm company never contacted me by phone or via mail. Now I have started to receive harrasing phone calls from employees who refuse to let me talk to a supervisor. Who hve never sent a bill or actual paper work for me to verify. For all I know these men are scamming just as the Alarm company did. They call all the time and are extremely rude I have even told them that if they dont control themselves I will have to record them and contact all agencys pertaining to this. I have taken the time to contact KTVT and KXAS I will not stop until someone looks into this company and the Alarm Company. I am writting the Owner since I read on the blog someone had it. Also I recommend everyone follow my lead and contact the news in your state ALso the BBB<FTC<ATTORNEY> I will come back on and post the tel numbers of the TV stations I contact so everyone can also call. Stop the Harrasing!!!

These little f***s threatened to sue me and my home for Apex Alarm Co. First of all I told them I did not want this system because I had just retired and can't afford it. My checks for my mortgage were bouncing, they were taking more money from my account then they had agreed to causing overdrafts up the yang yang!! My account with my credit union was closed because of them. I told them one hundred times I can't afford this and they said" so what you owe us $2000.00 and we will keep drafting your account!". I unplug this alarm system and sent it back and they said I still owe them. Now they continue to harrass me and take pictures of my home in the wee hours of the morning. If I was home that morning and caught them doing that I would have called the police and had them arrested for stalking. Now I have an attorney and will be filing a lawsuit against them and Apex Alarm. Did you get this Jared? Also filed a complaint with BBB.

I have read many replies from employees of the above Company. As far as I am concerned it's a bunch of BULL.
I also had a contract with an alarm Co. Equip did not work, for 6 mos, no one came. I finally cancelled and was then told that this company ADT contracts through Elite Security. Elite told me to pay 70% of the remaining of the contract. I told them to send me a bill and it would be taken care of, instead they did not. Crenshaw Anderson started calling me demanding me to pay 1,800 instead of the 800 owed to Elite. I received several calls a day, harrassing me to pay. Becaue I am in California and they are in Tex, I was receiving calls at all hours. All of this because I wanted security for my home and family that I did not receive.
I now have an attorney, I will be suing Crenshaw Anderson, Elite Security and ADT. One last thing Elite and ADT is being sued by Monitronic for false statements. Maybe it's time to stop complaining and start a Civil suit.

Switch to ASCA for free and monthly monitoring is only $25 per month. We Also service Puerto Rico and have an office in San Juan unlike many of these summer sales companies like apex, Pinnacle and others.

If you don't plan on paying, you can always write a cease and desist letter. It will not get the action off of your credit but they will have to stop contacting you. It doesn't have to be fancy, just your name and someway to verify your account with them. Be sure to send it certified mail.

I agree I tried to talk to them and as soon as I asked how they came to the amount they had ... he started threating me and yelling at me and telling me that they were gonna come put a lock on my door... blah blah... try it MF... so I called them back... 3 times and I will continue to call them back and harass them just as they harass me.... and I will not deal with them unless I see them in court they can tell the judge where they came to that amount... and if they get a judgement then the race is on from there.... I own NOTHING... keep in mind people... you have rights and they have to PROVE that this is a reasonable amount of money to collect on any case... 1,900 to 9,000... they can KISS MY ROYAL !!!
