| you need more imfomation, what your income is and where you live there are many resources out there to help. if your kids are under five there is wic and free child health insurance. there are churches and low income help programs for all of the above go to your local welfare office for more imformation. |

yes, don't rule out churches especially. I know here, there are several county agencies that are funded by welfare and other big programs and they can help residents with light bills, gas bills, weatherization of your home, emergency mortgages, and the list goes on and on! I think i would go to your assistance (welfare) office and see if they can help, if nothing else food stamps and maybe even medical! any help you can get at this point will relieve some of that pressure off of you. pleae don't be too proud to do this, and many people don't even know that the salvation army does quite a bit as well. your assistance office should direct you to what resources are locally available for your family. if nothing else, even if you don't want to apply for benefits or help, ask someone in the welfare office because they have to be knowledgeable of community resources for their clients keep us posted, good luck hang in there |
