Hey guys I need to see how to maybe help myself on boosting my credit score. I bought a car at a buy here pay here lot. I paid the car off in 2 years and it was a $20k loan. Perfect payment history etc.

How can I have this reported as good credit so lenders or others would see it.

Hi InsaneTim,

What you need to do is, first get hold of a copy of your credit report. Then check the payment history regarding the car loan. If you have never defaulted on the payment then your report should show no negative items. In that case you need to do nothing about it. However if it reflects any wrong listing, you need to dispute that item with the credit bureaus.

Justin I am trying to get this history added to my credit report as it was never reported. It will help me if I can get this history added.
