Subject: Hello? Credt Bureaus get income each month from creditors

Posted on Wed Aug 06, 2008 2:30 pm

Credit Bureaus get income each month from creditors and collectors, so you tell me if they want to delete something at the drop of a hat? NO! You would have to put in a lot of work, sure someone can do something like what most credit repair companies do on there own,but do you have 2 to 3 years, or do you want results fast that are perminate? I would not even waste your time reading these blogs, I would call up these companies investigage the companies and see what they are about, and if your goal is to get a new house or get out of debt go for it if it sounds good. I hope this helps open your eyes, I would not doubt if the credit repair companies or the bureaus are not the exact people posting on these blogs.

Hi guest, sounds as if you had a bad experience with rmcn, thank you for coming on here and letting us all know, we need to hear both sides of the coin so that we can make the right decisions.

So you think that the credit reporting agencies are actually working for the enemy here? What makes you think this?

I encourage you to register and express your opinion on these companies and even better your first hand experience. Look forward to seeing you register and participate with us here in the forums.

I feel anything with any value in this live is a investment, and something that is a deal, is often cheap and in not time is not worth having. So let me ask you this? Is your credit something you would look at as a cost, or is it something you would consider a investment? Invest in your future have your credit repaired.

Well, I am not willing to pump hundreds of dollars into something that I could do myself. How's that. I think my credit is worth something yeah, but so is my home, my family and my livelihood, that is what I pump money into. I see it this way, why pay someone hundreds of dollars to bump up my score when these items will fall off in a few years. I have no intention of purchasing anything in the next few years that would require my credit to be check. I have enough money to save and buy what ever I may need these days. So I will wait and continue to make payments on what I have out there now.

Bottom line is why all the side stepping, why can't you give a price, if you have a product worth discussing, you have a price. On the other hand if you don't, you don't. Most people here have been burned and we are not easy pickins' for someone to come along and offer a miracle, we all know the price of bad credit, we have all suffered the consequences of bad decisions. Not trying to be tough here, but you know what they say, if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is. So what are your price ranges? I would not want to give anyone access to my bank account or credit card to do more than one charge, that just has FOOL written all over it. Fool me once shame on me, Fool me twice, well then we have a problem. Just give us a price range. and for god's sake register already, LOL.

Well thanks for venting there erb. (by the way what are ya smokin' lol) I think what you posted is very well said and in good taste. I myself do not see paying these prices for a service we can do ourselves. Furthermore by doing this yourself you learn your way around the credit world. Great post.

Subject: RMCN V phase scheme

Posted on Mon Aug 18, 2008 1:31 pm

I have paid RMCN over $1500.00 to apply their highly promoted, "V Phase" as in 5 phases process to my credit report over the time period of Sept. 07 till Aug 08. (Very slick marketing here)
Many duplications and unverifiable reports were removed.
Many inquireies were removed.
The larger issues and mis reports have not been addressed since all the company does is send out form letters.
The promise of assistance in settling accounts and disputes is never followed through and any indication of which of the V phases my status may be is ignored even when I specifically ask.
I email Doug parker, president of rmcn, he sends an email to the consultant who signed me up. More promises of follow up are made but nothing is followed up. "Give it a couple of months" is the standard comment.
The larger important issues are not addressed by rmcn. Even with all the documentation required to prove a debt is invalid or reported wrongly, they apparantly do not have a department to address an issue head on and with a personal approach as described to me when I agreed to pay a higher price for their service. A promise will be made from a consultant but they obviously have no more ability or guidance than the do it yourselfer guide to credit repair.
Expensive mistake on my part to beleive a good salesman.
A $400-$500 repair service should yeild the same results.
I have e-mailed them again twice in the last week and have no response.
Looks like the BBB is the next stop.

I have signed up with RMCN being as skeptical as anyone else. As months go by and as I see the positive results I am impressed. My rep. Dwayne Caulk has shown kindness, patients and understanding. There is not enough room here to mention all the good but what I can say is that I will be moving from my bus into a home soon. I recommended RMCN to anyone who needs credit repair. It is well worth it, they are the experts.

Subject: RMCN vs doing it yourself

Posted on Mon Aug 18, 2008 7:34 pm

Believe me I am cheap. Every dollar counts. I got the government pamphlet and I tried to do it myself. I do everything my self including painting my bus. I have limited income. Cleaning my credit myself turned into a letter witting nightmare and I got no results. RMCN knows all the laws and time tables and reluctantly I gave them a chance. Within the first three months I was half way there. It is money well spent. If you have trouble with your rep. try mine, Dwayne Caulk, he made all the difference in the world. I suppose I could have done my triple bypass too but some things are best left to the experts.

You can do it yourself and dispute items with the Bureaus but what happens when they verify something that you've disputed? What's your next move? The problem is that most people don't know how Credit Restoration works at any level, take ERB for example who posted above he thinks the stuff just falls off your report. CLUE: It does not magically fall off, everything has to be disputed period. ERB also wants a price for the service, however when your car won't start do you ask the mechanic how much it will cost to fix it before the mechanic opens the hood? RMCN offers a Free Consultation to determine the price based on whats on the credit report and how much work they have to put into it. Then STEVEORENO chimes in about all RMCN does is send form letters. Not True, RMCN is one of the only Companies that validate debts directly with Collection Agencies and Creditors and will negotiate and settle debts for removal as well. The difference is Joe is Seattle got a Good Consultant and STEVE did not, the end result will be success as long as anyone just lets RMCN do their job. The problem is we are dealing with people who don't pay the bills anyway (see Guest above) and when given the opportunity to take responsibility and do the right thing many fall short and then blame someone else for their shortcomings i.e. RMCN. If your serious about your financial future and are willing to invest the money to get your credit restored the right way (see I have Good Credit above) then you should contact RMCN. I personally know Dwayne and I would ask for him if you want the best experience possible.

First and foremaost ERB is a woman. I know that it takes alot of legwork to clean up your credit. Anyone willing to go throught he nightmare and doesn't have the funds can do this on their own with assistance. I do not believe she meant that everyone should clean up their own. Some people would rather have some one else do it and that is fine.
Sttevo, maybe you need a better representative. Can you ask for someone else or are your stuck with the person you got?

Blah, Blah, Blah, hey credit guy how about registering and becoming a part of the forum before you start dogging the members here. I don't think that erb takes this lightly at all, I think that what erb is saying that with educating yourself and learning the steps you can do it yourself and learn through the process.

I think if you read through some of the posts then you will get to know some of the members here a little better and better understand where they are coming from. Erb has been with us for quite some time, I have read and answered questions that has lead to her getting her report.

Some people here have been given the shaft many times by the creditor and by companies that have promised to help, took their money and gotten no results.

So in your post when you belittle two of our regular members, I would hope before you take these bold steps again, that you read through the threads, conversate with the people here and learn what they have been through before you start bagering them. Please register and take the time to get to know our members before you do this type of behavior again. Much appreciated.

Very well put. Anyway I just printed my repoprt from trans union. I only hav one account listed in the negative but on my experian one a few months back I had a few. My question is The OC is not on there (providian) only the collection agency. On my experian report it says they are to go off on july 2010 but on this one it says sept 2010. Why the difference in the two reprots?
My last payment to providian according to my experian report was made on Nov. 2003 ANd was listed as of 30 days Dec. 2003. Am I protected by the SOL in PA (4 years)? 180 days was May 2004.
There is no date of last activity on the new report.

Not real sure what it is not on there, is it on the other reports? Was it time to drop off yet.
