the federal tax lien has been receiving payments for over a year and have not tried to take the property away , we are interested in purchasig a mobile home and placing on the property next year, what or how can we get the federal tax lien to send a letter or remove the lien or show that payments are being made, also the one lien can be removed from my credit report since 7yrs of statue of limitation expired. please help

Can you tell me how much is your credit score and the state you live in?
As far as I know, the outstanding tax will be shown as "paid" in your credit report once the tax is paid in full. Paid tax lien shows on your credit report for seven years, but if it is unpaid, it may stay in your credit report for ever, because tax lien is a public record.
