Icreasing my FICO score to 720

Hi all,

I want to reach the 720 credit score. Right now my EX is 670, EQ 687, and TU 698. I just paid down all of my credit card balances and the only debt I have is my condo and my car which I have around $10K left.

My scores all went up after I closed my mortgage and reached 700 (TU), which was nice. Since all my bank accounts are with the same bank including my mortgage I qualified for real credit card with a descent limit which I was not able to get before, so I took the small hit on my score to have more available credit for business travel purposes.

To get the mortgage I had to clear up any collections and accounts which I paid them all in full but some were not deletable. I close the mortgage in May and the bank took it over the 1st of June. I realize I have only had the account for a few months but shouldn't my mortgage be front and center for in my credit report?

Besides keeping my balances low and not applying for credit is paying my bills on time for the next several months my only option?

Is there anything special I can do to reach the 720 club?

Thanks friends.

Hi Rainey,

You have been doing all the needful. As for the mortgage it may show up on your credit report in the next or so. You can also talk to the bank about this.

As for the payments on the mortgage and auto loan try to pay extra on these. This can bring up the equity. Other than this how many credit cards do you have? 3 cards seem to be a good number to maintain your credit score.

Thanks,

Aaron

any kind of negative is listed first on your credit report. Wait a year and see if you can dispute some of the paid stuff off. I have done it.
