We got an online loan from plain greens and made 4 payments of $153.00... We want to pay it off and the woman said we need to pay $929.00 more. The loan was originally $800 taken on June. 17. We are living in NJ and the people from plain green said that they are not a payday loan company when I mentioned that the interest rate allowed in NJ is just 30% maximum APR for financial institutions and that payday loan is illegal in our state. What are we going to do?

Don’t do anything. Just pay back them the principal balance and close down your old bank account. They can’t do anything. Plain Green is an illegal lender. If you have already overpaid them, so ask them for the refund.

Plain green is an illegal tribal lender. You will have to follow several steps ....revoke ACH rights, revoke voluntary wage assignment rights. If you follow sally's instructions without doing the ACH revocation and providing a copy to your bank, the account will be forced open and you will incur massive amounts of overdraft frees. You will not get a refund...aint gonna happen. They illegal and they are not going to give a dime back. Go to debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/dealingwith-illegallenders.html
