i received a letter from the collection company and the say i owe a debt to Associate Bank and which i never had a account with them but they have my social number but the last name was wrong they offer me to pay some of the amount if not i will have a judgement and need to go to court what should i do to stop them? Please help. my credit report is clean now no collection at all. all 3 bureau report all collection are drop . Please Advised.

I think they are scammers, don’t rely on their words. They are just trying to scare you. File a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC immediately.
How do I file?? I am sorry can you help me and give me the link please I also check they bbb they are on F rating .
