Negative Tradeline showing again

Just recently, I was able to dispute negative tradeline and entry was removed from all three CRAs but now I see is back again on Equifax report. At this moment it is not showing on TU and Experian but I'm sure will be there soon.

Entry is being re-aged..... account was opened in 1994 and no payments were ever made and once again it is being reported by OC's name who is no longer in business. No CA name anywhere on the report.

** How can I permanently stop this fraud agency to report this again and again? I sent them DV letter before but they never responded.

** And what do I need to write this time to CRA? Since this was removed recently and I have their previous report with statement that tradeline was deleted.

Please help me?

Hi fantoos,

Dispute this item. First send debt validation letter to the collection agency and then dispute this item with the credit bureaus.

How can I permanently stop this fraud agency to report this again and again? I sent them DV letter before but they never responded.

You should report this collection agency to the State Attorney General.

And what do I need to write this time to CRA? Since this was removed recently and I have their previous report with statement that tradeline was deleted.

I think as I have mentioned above, you should first try validating the debt and then send dispute letter to the credit bureaus. It will be a simple dispute but you should mention that you are disputing this debt for the second time, and that it was removed previously from your credit report. Attach copies of previous debt validation letters and the present one too.

Thanks,

Aaron

Thank you Aaron,

It is being reported by OC's name who is no longer in business. OC's name and address are listed on that entry. I don't see any CA listed anywhere on the report.

Can I send DV to previous CA?? or OC?

And I live in Texas and OC or CA is from California, I should report to Texas or California State Attorney General??

fantoos, you are welcome :)

A debt validation letter is sent only to the collection agency. You can send debt validation letter either to the original creditor or the credit bureaus. As this debt is getting reported by the original creditor, send a 623 dispute letter to the creditor.

You will have to report to both the Attorney Generals I think.

Thanks,

Aaron

from your other posts I believe you should have green card receipts from letters sent to the address on your credit report.

Send a method of verification letter to the CRA. EQ. this is a letter asking how they are verifying this information when you cannot get a response from the company. if you have any records about the company going out of business include it.

you can complain to the AG, but the secret here is who is reporting this to E-Oscar (that's the debt computer data base)

do not write new letters to CAs that are not on your credit report.
