I found on my credit reoprt a collection agency that has an old utility bill ($125 dollar gas bill) of mine from 2009. No one has ever tried to collect this money from me. (it is out of sol anyway right?) If I just pay it, do I still have to wait until 2016 for this to fall off!?

Yeah...any kind of negative item will stay on your credit report for 7 years from the date of your first default. You may request the collection agency to update your account status as “Paid-in-full†after repaying the debts in full.
