Hi!
I work for and with some great folks here at North American. We help folks all day long. I truly enjoy my job, the people we help, and the work environment here. There is absolutely no tolerance for even the slightest hint of not doing what is best for each client and their particular situation, and we help so many. When you are really trying to help people and work hard at it and are successful that is awesome.

The Hardship Programs are not for everyone, and not always an easy road, but if you qualify and choose to enroll, they will get you out from under your debts for pennies on the dollar and will post positive on your credit report as paid as agreed, paid as settled, zero balance, and some creditors just post paid in full.
The debt is gone and you are back on your feet. Not overnight of course, but sooner rather than later and much faster because the extra cash you have in your pocket each week once you enroll sure helps you get your finances under control quicker. Many clients get back on their feet, are able to put more money in their Trust Savings Accounts each month, and get of of their programs earlier and for less money than expected.

I am a certified paralegal and a senior financial analyst here at North American, and we are truly here to help and as I said, very successful at it. We are not responsible for the scams and pretends or even the much lower client retention rates of other companies in this industry. Regulations are cracking down and they will be weeded out and we will be able to help even more people.
The clients are in control of the money and everything else throughout the entire process, and seriousness to resolve the debt is the most important key to outstanding success and the lowest settlements in the programs for our clients.
My best to everyone and theirs.
Peace
Rob Roy

I have heard of NADS, North American Debt Settlement. They just took $1500 out of my account after I cancelled their services. I am so angry, I may sue them. They really have my bank account messed up, and I can't afford that right now. No m,oney for food this week. I just can't believe they did that, after I spoke to Edward Say personally and told him I wanted to cancel the day after I signed up. I wanted to cancel for a few reasons. 1. The girl gave me one amount then at the end gave me a different amount. 2. They did not advise me that I should change my personal checking account. 3. They did not advise me that some companies such as Discover, will not settle for anything exept the amount you owe them.
I don't like Discrepancies.

In response to the previous post, I would like it to be known that the name of the agent is actually Edward Fay, and the lady had been his assistant Donna, and everyone can rest assure that the both of them have been terminated and are no longer associated nor affiliated with NADS. These two individuals are dispicable sorry excuses for human beings and as a Senior Managing Debt Director I would like to extend my deepest sincerest apologies for that is absolutely not the way we operate. To address your discrepancies they did not understand the program and did not care that their clients did have the full disclosure. They were caught and terminated quickly because all of our calls are recorded for the FTC, and monitored daily for quality assurance purposes. The person above should contact MIchael Spivak, the president of the company to resolve this matter to their satisfaction immediately.
Again we sincerely apologize and did not want this to be a stain on our outstanding performance.
And we look forward to assisting folks in their time of need. With over 100,00 accounts unfortunately bad apples slip into the process. Qaulity assurance insures they're caught and terminated quickly.

They called me this morning and the guy asked me a few questions and then transferred me to a person named Winston. He started going over the plan and I stopped him and told him I was not interested and he got really nasty with me. I told him not to get ugly with me and not to call me again. He replied in an ugly voice that I called him. I told him again that I did not call and he would not take that I did not want to be involved in the company and that I was called. I would never use this company if I did want to use a settlement company........ I don't like nasty people.

NORTH AMERICAN DEBT SETTLEMENT OUT OUT OF NYC, N.Y. IS ONE OF YOUR TYPICAL BOTTOM FEEDERS IN THE INDUSTRY, WITH UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. THEY ARE NOT RATED AT ALL ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. THEY ARE NOT IAPDA CERTIFIED **(INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PROFFESIONAL DEBT ARBITRATORS)**. THEY ARE NOT PART OF USOBA, ** UNITED STATES OF BANKRUPTCY ALTERNATIVES** YES WOW THEY ARE PART OF TASC ** THE ASSOCIATION OF SETTLEMENT COMPANIES WHICH IS A MEESLY $300 DOLLARS TO BECOME A MEMBER OF. WITHOUT EVERY PERSON TAKING THE CERTIFIED DEBT ARBITRATION COURSES WHO ACTUALLY REPRESENT A DEBT SETTLEMENT COMPANY IN GENERAL MEANS NONE OF THE SALES FLOOR IS EVER ACTUALLY TRAINED THE PROPER WAY, OR THE WAY A REPUTABLE COMPANY WOULD. THE COMPANY ITS SELF IS JUST NO GOOD, ANYONE THAT COMES ACROSS THIS COMPANY CONTACTING YOU SHOULD REALLY RECONSIDER FINDING A REPUTABLE COMPANY OR YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF IN A WORSE SITUATION THAN YOU ARE ALREADY IN.

That's why Debtreliefprof has asked people to reconsider their decisions before contacting this company I believe.

Bottom feeders? Thats not very fair to the crustations on the planet. NADS is really more of the crap on the bottom of the ocean that the bottom feeders eat.

As previously noted before the message was censured, Mike Spivack was a player in the mortgage industry forcing bad mortgages on people that could not qualify for a prepaid phone card. It is people exactly like him that have caused this housing mess.

Now he decided to rip people off in the debt industry. People down on their luck who need help and he promises the world and delivers nothing.

Stay away from this company at all costs. go bankrupt before you trust them for help. it would be less of a headach.

These are very very bad people who cannot be trusted.

Wish I saw Debtreliefprof's posting two months ago. NA Settle has been wooing me for a few months. Two months ago I signed the paperwork...last month made the 1st payment. They did hook me up with UCAN.Net which seems legit. Now I have questions, call the folks at NA Settle to find my guy is gone...no one answers the phones...the voice mail is full. Man do I feel screwed! Any suggestions?

Hi Nuff,

This company is not accredited under Better Business Bureau (BBB). The BBB has not even given any rating to this company. However, you can send a certified mail with a return receipt to this company, that you have done the first payment and would like to contact them. If you receive no answer, you can complain this to the BBB.

Hope this helps.

I keep seeing everyone talking about the BBB, and how important it is, and I think you people should really look into them, the real scam artist. I agree the debt settlement world is full of scams and be very careful. But the BBB is a private buiness for profit with no goverment control or regulation. They have no standards for conducting buiness and based on membership payments to them, you can adjust your rating up and down. I see companies with 8 compliants have an F rating, and some with 400 compliants and have a B rating. The BBB is the bottom feeders for telemarketing companies. the only real power they have, is the ignorance of the consumer, and that the consumer belives they can really help.

Thanks for the information, Debtreliefprof, Phil, et al. Do you know of a NYC-based debt settlement firm called NSS Financial, located at 144 E. 44th Street? If so, are they reputable, and a member of the appropriated organizations?

If this is not the company to work with; which one is?

Fri, 09/03/2010 - 21:42 Permalink

Hi spring:

As far as I get from your post North American Debt Services is a scam company. So, did you complain about this company with the State's Attorney General?

Prussia: You need to first check out if a company is a real one or a scam. Check if the company is accredited with the Better Business Bureau and the reports with the State Attorney General.

Thanks,

Aaron

The company arranges their fees in the payment plan for the first 24 to 36 months. Is that irregular? Also, the fee is a percentage of the debt, before settlement, the entire amount owed. Is that correct?

Thanks,

Don't waste your time or your money...I was lucky enough to get my money back from those crooks. The creditors (most) don't deal with debt settlement companies and more than likely will sue you, and the judgement will be on credit report for 7 years, I opted for BK.
Good luck!

Ms. Carol,

If you intend to inform the public of BBB ratings youmust post the correct rating. You in fact say the BBB has given ADS LLC an F rating, this in wrong and is slander. Their rating is an A-. Please research.
