I have sent a validation letter to a collection agency as they are trying to collect a 5-year-old credit card. This is the only delinquent account on my credit report. The collection agency has not sent me anything yet. They have only called me repeatedly. They have even called my boss and family members. What should I do now?

Send them a Cease and Desist letter in writing via certified mail with a return receipt request. If they don’t give any valid proof, then don’t make any payments. If required file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.
