Dispute each entry with the credit bureaus...they have 30 days to correct or delete.

Right, I did this and you know they did answer everyone of them, I thought if i got one wiped out, I would be happy, unfortunately it did not work for me, I wish you better luck than I had.

You can attempt to dispute for a different reason...if you repeat a reason, it is very likely that the CRA will discard as frivolous.

You first have to stop and realize that you're not going to improve your credit overnight. Why not consider opening a small secured credit card or taking out a small auto loan with a dealer that specializes in people with no or bad credit. The sooner you can open a new credit account the sooner you can start rebuilding your credit.

Hello Scott,

Welcome to the forum.

Hi Hechpx,

Disputing the item will help.

August,
Sometimes it does not work but reasons are also enough. I do not know what approach you have taken but if you write with enough evidence I am sure things will work out. Give different reason for the dispute as mrnstr said.
